Craigmillar Farmhouse Cake Mix produces cakes with a rustic homemade look, lightly spiced flavour and wholesome mouthfeel. The mix is specially formulated to produce a dense bake which holds a high volume of inclusions well without sinking.
This is a complete cake mix ready to bake after adding water and your desired inclusions (fruit and nuts work especially well).
To use, add 5.6kg of water to 12.5kg of dry mix over two minutes on low speed using a beater attachment. Scrape down and then beat for three minutes on medium speed. Blend in 5.4kg of fruit until fully distributed on low speed. Then distribute batter into loaf tins and for a 450g loaf tin bake for approximately 50 minutes at 180 degrees.
