This chocolate sponge cake mix requires only the addition of water to produce light, soft sponge cake with a subtle chocolate flavour. The mix has been specially formulated for pliability and resists cracking making it perfect for Swiss rolls and roulades as well as regular chocolate sponge cakes and chocolate cupcakes.
To make, gradually add 520g of water to 1kg of Super Sponge mix while mixing on slow speed for 1 minute. Scrape down and mix for a further 10 minutes on fast speed. Deposit 180g of batter per six inch round tin then bake for 25-30 minutes at 180 degrees.
